Bowery was unofficially renamed for David Bowie this weekend

New York might want to consider turning David Bowie Day into David Bowie Month.

Fans of the singer are continuing to pay tribute to the late performer, this time with a guerilla renaming of the Bowery to “David Bowery.” The unofficial renaming took place on Saturday night on the corner of Bowery and Houston. The L.I.S.A. Project, a nonprofit street artists organization, was behind the stunt.
