Tacos for breakfast? Sign us up! We're pretty envious of anyone that lives off the Clark Street stop in Brooklyn Heights, because Jalapa Jar—a local eatery that specializes in Austin-style breakfast tacos—is almost ready to open a kiosk outside the subway 2/3 turnstile.

You've probably seen (or tasted) the mouth-watering grub from cousins Steve Smith and Tommy Byrnes at either Smorgasburg or street fairs like PopUpNY on the weekends, but having savory, Tex-Mex tacos readily accessible during your weekday morning commute sure does sound like heaven. And it's not just tacos—there will be will be queso that looks good enough to swim in.

The food bar is expecting to open at the end of the month (6am to 7pm), located in the arcade underneath the St. George Hotel and subway entrance.
