“Ouch. I broke a rail.” —The MTA, every day.

This afternoon, broken rails at Queensboro Plaza and 5th Avenue-59th Street have resulted in major delays on the B, D, F, N, Q and R lines. N and Q trains are currently suspended in both directions between Manhattan and Queens and are not running in Queens at all. The other lines are running with delays, with Southbound R trains running on the F line from 36th Street in Queens to West 4th Street-Washington Square, and then the D line to DeKalb Avenue.

And that’s not all! Because of a rail condition at Main Street-Flushing, 7 trains are running with delays in both directions. So if you live in Queens, you might want to consider getting home before 10:30pm tonight. Or at least do your best to.
