Brooklyn has never been creepier than in Radiohead’s new music video

For years, Radiohead has been putting out music videos that turn their native spaces into bastions of dread, exposing the underlying dreariness of otherwise idyllic cities. First it was London, with videos like "Just" and "Fake Plastic Trees" creating inescapably bleak pictorials of daily life in modern England. Then L.A., with Thom Yorke wandering through vast empty spaces and unsettlingly still interiors with "Daydreaming". Now, they have applied the same eerie treatment to Bushwick, turning the Cooper Park Tennis Courts and the Scott Avenue train tracks into the dangerous, paranoia-laiden wonderlands. Watching it is sure to make walking alone at night off the Morgan stop a little bit more anxiety-inducing.

The video, released on Thursday, is titled "Man of War/Big Boots". Along with two other famous B-sides, it will be released on OKNOTOK, the reissue of the band’s seminal OK Computer album, which is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year.

Check it out—maybe you’ll see something you recognize.
