Brooklyn Hip-Hop Festival hosts Nas, Fabolous and more this summer

The 12th-annual Brooklyn Hip-Hop Festival has announced the lineup for its 2016 edition happening Wednesday, July 13th to Saturday, July 16th. The fest's big finale concert at Brooklyn Bridge Park and St. Ann’s Warehouse will be headlined by Queens' own Nas, as well as Brooklyn MCs Fabolous and Talib Kweli, and up-and-comer Rapsody. Look for more acts are on the way. Tickets to the fest are on sale now.

In other summer hip-hop news, Summer Jam—happening Sunday, June 5th at MetLife Stadium—has announced its first round of performers. Acts, all of which are playing Summer Jam's smaller festival stage, include Chance the Rapper, Tory Lanez, Curren$y, Desiigner, Post Malone, Justine Skye, Dave East, Dougie F and Rotimi. Tickets go on Saturday, April 9th at noon.
