As if you needed another reason to spend the next couple of months tackling our best things to do outside list, here’s one more. One of the best things to do in summer is attend one of the many street fairs happening across New York. And one of our favorite Brooklyn fetes—Bushwick Collective Block Party—is going down early next month!

On Saturday, June 3, a chunk of King County’s top-notch outdoor artists stage a Bushwick street takeover (7 Saint Nicholas Ave), fully armed with food trucks, live jammin’ and Instagram-worthy graffiti to celebrate the nabe’s trendy art scene. Watch spray-can masters create new masterpieces in real time, while local hip-hop and rock-and-roll artists provide the backdrop tunes. This year, groove to performances by Foxy Brown, DJ Evil Dee, rapper Busta Rhymes, CL Smooth and many more throughout the day. Cool down and wet your whistle with brews from the Modelo Beer Garden between sets, and don’t forget to send us your Instagram photos of all the amazing graffiti artwork!

Oh, the best part? This block party is totally free to attend, but it is recommended that you R.S.V.P.
