So you know how Bono fell off his bike in Central Park a couple weeks back? Far be it from us to applaud a gazillionaire rock star's bodily harm, but we have to say: The singer's injuries seem to have resulted in a pretty awesome one-off event. Bono's currently recovering in Dublin, but the rest of U2 is playing a free gig in Times Square tonight—self-billing as U2 Minus 1—as part of a World AIDS Day event. And who's filling in for the missing frontman? Some guy named Bruce Springsteen. (And, in somewhat less awesome news, Coldplay's Chris Martin.) Some other guy we've never heard of, Kanye West, will be sharing opening duties with Carrie Underwood.

The show starts at 7:30pm tonight, on Broadway between 46th and 47th Sts. So, yeah, you'll want to queue up, like, yesterday. All details here.
