One of the best things about living in New York is that you can take a stroll outside and stumble upon some amazing street art. It’s like living in a giant art gallery, we tell ya! And the best place to ogle open-air artwork is in the Lower East Side this weekend.

In case you haven’t heard of the 100 Gates Project, a team of artists have teamed up with local businesses in the nabe to give their security gates a less drabby makeover. This has been an ongoing two-year project, and thanks to the famous Katz’s Deli, they’ve finally hit the 100 gate mark.

From Thursday 15 to Sunday 18, take a self-guided walking tour of the creations and enjoy $3 brews from Tiger Beer. We reckon many of these gates will make an excellent backdrop for your next Instagram selfie. Here's a map of where all the gates are located!
