By the time summer's over—and with it SummerStage, Celebrate Brooklyn!, FarmBorough and all the rest—chances are you'll be a little sick of music festivals. But here's a good reason to conserve a bit of your energy, and hard-earned cash, for the fall: Basilica SoundScape—a smartly curated music fest housed in Basilica Hudson, a cavernous former 19th-century factory in scenic Hudson, New York—is returning in September for its fourth annual installment. Co-hosted by former Hole bassist Melissa Auf der Maur and co-curated by Pitchfork staffer and extreme-music tastemaker Brandon Stosuy, Basilica has heaps of cred. Its annual lineups, jam-packed with noise specialists, metal bands, left-field singer-songwriters and other eccentrics, are the perfect counterpart to big-tent fests like Governors Ball.
Below is a list of all acts that have been announced so far, including vanguard U.K. soundscapists Haxan Cloak and Blanck Mass, feel-bad Michigan noise grandaddies Wolf Eyes and resurgent L.A. avant-rockers HEALTH. Not too shabby, right? Go here to grab tix for the fest, which runs from Friday, September 11 through Sunday, September 13.
