Yes, you read that right. Sweets wizard Dominique Ansel (Dominique Ansel Kitchen) and Korean-BBQ master Deuki Hong (Kang Ho Dong Baekjeong) have joined forces on a culture-crossing, taste-bud–tingling take on a French dip sandwich, layered with Korean flavors. It's not the first Asian food collaboration for Ansel—he recently hosted a Taiwanese New Year feast at Grand Army

Offered at Dominique Ansel Kitchen starting this Friday at 6pm, the Korean French Dip ($22) features Hong's slow-roasted prime rib, kimchi marmalade and Kalbi short rib jus (a choice of mushroom or spicy Serrano) on Ansel's garlic-studded potato bread, slicked with garlic butter. Take note, the sandwiches will be sold through Sunday from noon until supplies run out, so get there early to make sure you get one.
