If it’s good enough for The Rocky Horror Picture Show, The Sound of Music and Grease, why not Hedwig? For one night only, pull on your tallest feathered wig, squeeze into your chunkiest pair of heels, and rock out like a transgendered East German diva. SVA Theatre at 333 W 23rd Street is throwing a Hedwig and the Angry Inch Sing-Along on Monday Feb 23 at 7:30pm and all attendees are encouraged to dress for maximum punk-rock fabulosity. John Cameron Mitchell's 2001 cult movie adaptation will be shown on the big screen on 35mm film. Now's your chance to show up as a "Sugar Daddy," an "Exquisite Corpse" or—get creative with your crafting, people—a "Wig in a Box."

This is especially good news for fans of the show and movie who can’t score a ticket to the smashing Broadway revival, currently starring role originator (and the film's director) John Cameron Mitchell, who just announced a six-week extension through Apr 26.

Tickets are $20 and you can buy them here. It’s general admission; doors open at 7pm.
