With all the awesome food festivals this summer in New York, you can pretty much put your beach-body goals to rest. (Let’s face it: all-you-can-eat for an affordable fee is too good to pass up). And you should start fasting now, as you’ll need to save your appetite for the third annual Taste of Bushwick on Tuesday 14 at 6:30pm.

If you haven’t explored the delicacies of this trendy neighborhood, now’s the perfect opportunity to sample over 40 of the nabe’s finest eateries and bar offerings on one block. Tickets ($50, purchase here) give you access to all the food and drink you can swallow at the event, and the price benefits the OBIE Award-winning non-profit theater The Bushwick Starr. Yep, you’re gorging for a good cause!

The festival is located at Frank Brunckhorst LLC (a.k.a. Boar’s Head) distribution plant at 24 Rock Street (enter at Bogart St). We hear that Syndicated—the amazing dine-in movie theater that charges $3 per ticket—will be serving grub like lamb sliders and Fair Weather Bushwick is bringing a specialty Mac & Cheese dish, but these are only a few highlights compared to the mouth-watering list of participants below.
