Feast your eyes on these pictures of NYC's fierce thunderstorm last night

I don't know about you, but I woke up at 4am to the sound of crashing and my bed shaking, very afraid and truly believing the building under construction next to mind had fallen down and was possibly about to kill me. Turns out, it was just ear-shattering thunder from a crazy lightning storm that rolled through NYC around 4am. If you either slept through it or stayed safely in bed (like I did), here's some videos and photos of the big event. Look forward to more rainy days and cooler weather later this week!
