Bed-Stuy, get ready to dance! The inaugural Brooklyn Get Down Festival hosts four days of house music and dancing at Restoration Plaza from July 28 to July 31 with a variety of DJs, artists and vendors. The festival is co-founded by film and event producer Domingo Canate, who was inspired to create the local event after making Hands to the Sky, a film documenting the DJ's, dancers and fans of the outdoor house movement around the country.

Monique Bingham, Ian Friday, Josh Milan and DJ Art are among the DJ's spinning soulful tunes. The fest will feature more than just free dance parties, though—attendees can also frequent art exhibits at Restoration’s Skylight Gallery, or watch a screening of Hands to the Sky. Head over to the website for more information, and see the full lineup below.
