The first game of the World Series may not be until tomorrow night, but you can show your Mets spirit starting today at a pep rally in Queens.

From 3-5pm this afternoon, Queens Borough President Melinda Katz is hosting a free rally for the Amazin’s outside of Borough Hall. The first 500 attendees will get free t-shirts and there will also be free snacks, music, face painting and a rock climbing wall.

“Calling all New Yorkers everywhere, it’s time to bring out your orange and blue,” announced Katz. “This hometown rally will be all about New York pride to fuel the Amazin’s momentum into the World Series.”

Former players John Franco and Edgardo Alfonzo will also be present at the event. Now, let’s go Mets!
