The Public Theater is no stranger to giving away free tickets, as anyone who’s waited hours for Shakespeare in the Park can attest. So their new partnership with Broadway ticket app TodayTix definitely makes sense.
"Free First Previews" lets in-the-know theatergoers enter a lottery where each winner gets two free tickets to the first preview of a show at the Public Theater up to a week in advance of the performance. You're then notified if you've won the tickets between Noon and 4pm on the day of the show. You can found out more about the initiative and download the app here.
