The weather’s getting really nice and if you’re like us, all you want to do is grab a martini or chilled Riesling on a rooftop bar, kick back and enjoy the summer. Or take the R to 25th Street in Brooklyn and wander around Green-Wood Cemetery contemplating death. We could go either way.

According to a press release, The Great American Casket Company is “an outdoor, roving immersive theater experience in Green-Wood in which the fine young men and women of the fictional Great American Casket Company act as guides. After a friendly presentation by company representatives, theatergoers can reflect on their preferred style of coffin for when the time comes. With Green-Wood’s magnificent landscape as a featured player, audiences journey deep into the center of the cemetery as the sun sets across its historic grounds. Interacting with the actors, they become a part of the show as they respond to what they’re learning and experiencing.” Sounds deep! Like six feet!

The Great American Casket Company takes place Thursday through Sunday at 7pm through June 26. Tickets are $75 and available here
