The first of this year's free Celebrate Brooklyn! shows has been announced (it's Sharon Jones), along with several of the series's benefit shows (Tame Impala, Ray LaMontagne and Beirut). Now there are some details to report on the city's other major summer concert seriesCentral Park SummerStage, which has announced two of its own ticketed benefit shows. The first of those brings Barenaked Ladies, Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark and Howard Jones to Central Park on June 13 (tickets on sale now). The second features musical-comedy duo Flight of the Conchords at Central Park on July 24 (tickets go on sale Friday, March 4 at 10am).

On top of that, Central Park SummerStage has announced several of its big-name jazz bookings, including appearances by legends like McCoy Tyner Quartet, bassist Ron Carter and drummer Roy Haynes; a headlining set by rising star Kamasi Washington, who recently played a sold-out Webster Hall show; and gigs with ensembles helmed by keyboardist Jason Lindner and saxist Donny McCaslin, both of whom played on David Bowie's Blackstar earlier this year. Find details on those dates below.
