Here are the MTA subway closures you need to know about this weekend

The weather forecast for New York this weekend includes more than 24 hours of rain, so schleping about the city is going be an even more tumultuous feat than usual. To make matters worse, another run of subway closures are poised to make your your weekend travels all the more miserable.

It's our goal to keep you from being stuck in subway purgatory while you're out making most of the city this weekend, and, with that in mind, we've compiled all of the MTA subway service changes that could get in your way. 

1 trains will run express between Chambers and 72nd Streets from 11:45pm Friday through 5am Monday, and 2 trains will be running express along the same stretch from 11:45pm Friday until 6:30am Sunday and from 11:45pm Sunday through 5am Monday.

4 trains will not be running in betweeen Brooklyn Bridge-City Hall and New Lots Avenue from 11:45pm Friday through 5am Monday, and 3 trains will be running to New Lots during that period instead. 

5 trains are suspended in both directions between Bowling Green and Grand Central Terminal from 11:45pm Friday through 5am Monday.

Downtown-bound 6 trains will run express from 125th Street and Grand Central Terminal from 11:45pm Friday through 5am Monday. 

Downtown-bound A trains will run express from 145th Street to Columbus Circle from 11:45pm Friday until 5am Monday. 

Downtown-bound C trains will run express from 125th Street to Columbus Circle from 6:30am to 11pm on both Saturday and Sunday.

G trains will not run between Bedford-Nostrand Avenues and Court Square from 11:45pm Friday through 5am Monday. 

R trains will be suspended in both directions between Bay Ridge-95th Street and 36th Street from 11:30pm Friday through 5am Monday.
