In this week's issue of Time Out New York, we've got 20 ways to cure your January blues

We, know we know, it’s cold and snowy outside, and your bed is looking pretty good right now. But hiding under the blankets won’t rid you of those winter blues. That’s why this week, we’re bringing you the best ways to enjoy this winter in the city, including Winter Jazzfest, New York City Beer Week and, of course, the No Pants Subway Ride. We’ve even planned you an itinerary fort the saddest day of the year (statistically, it’s January 19), and interviewed members of the Coney Island Polar Bear Club about why they jump into the ice-cold ocean.

Plus: an argument in defense of Williamsburg (yes, the neighborhood it is right now, Starbucks, J.Crew and all), where to find healthy food that doesn’t suck (so you can keep that New Year’s resolution to eat well) and a Q&A with Jake Gyllenhaal.

Happy 2015, New York!
