This year, Harry Potter fans are having their Christmas dreams come true. For the first time since the end of the book series, fans will get to read a new series of stories about the boy wizard.

J.K Rowling stated in a newsletter on Pottermore, her Harry Potter fan site, that she will be releasing twelve new short stories just in time for the holidays (and don’t forget, we’ve already been graced with a new story about Dolores Umbridge.)

The stories will be released beginning on December 12, and one new story will be released each day leading up to Christmas at 8AM EST. One of the stories will focus on Harry’s nemesis Draco Malfoy.

And for the ultimate immerse fandom experience, be sure to attend this year’s upcoming Yule Ball at the Bell House, featuring wizard rockers Harry and the Potters.
