It's a beautiful day for nerds to shine bright like a diamond, because it's May the Fourth, otherwise known as Star Wars day. ("May the Fourth be with you." Get it?) Here's four ways to celebrate whether you're from Alderaan, Tatooine or beyond.

Drink up at Barcelona Bar (55th St and 8th Ave). This dive bar will offer up pairs of shots called Dueling Jedis—melon liquer gives one a green glow while cranberry juice gives the other an ominous shade of red. Happy hour is from 4–7pm, and stick around for trivia at 9pm!

Test your geek knowledge at The Big Star Wars Quiz Thing. SubCulture, 7:30pm. For $15 you'll get a trivia-packed night of five rounds of Star Wars-based challenges, like audio and visual puzzles, lightning rounds and buzzer contests. As their website reads: "Whether you’re an acolyte of the Rebel Alliance or a loyalist to the Galactic Empire, do come to The Big Star Wars Quiz Thing—or do not come. There is no try."

Go geocaching in Times Square. Geocachers will meet up from 12:30–1:15pm near the bleachers in Times Square today. You can purchase trackable lightsaber coins with a blue side for Jedis and a red side for Siths for $11, and meet up with fellow fans. Who knows where the GPS will take you next? (Probably to a bar.)

Play old school video games at Barcade. The Barcade in Chelsea has dozens of games that will definitely be a blast from your past, but today you have to play the classic Atari games "The Empire Strikes Back" and "Return of the Jedi." Smash those buttons!
