Melissa McCarthy is hosting Saturday Night Live this weekend, and boy oh boy is it sure to be a doozy. The comedian has made numerous guest appearances on the show this year, playing an over the top version of White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer.
On Friday morning, she was seen driving a motorized podium along 58th Street near Columbus Circle, fully decked out in her Spicer costume while screaming at traffic.
McCarthy first debuted her impression of White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer on SNL in January, shortly after President Donald Trump took office. Since then, she's made numerous guest appearances on the show, and fans have eagerly awaited for her turn as host.
SNL couldn't have picked a better week for McCarthy to host. From the firing of FBI Director James Comey to reports of Spicer hiding from the White House press corps in a set of bushes, the show's writers have plenty of material to work with.
