On September 16, former "Weekend Update" anchor and 30 Rock creator Tina Fey will take a night off from filming season two of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt to interview her contemporary (or successor, depending on whom you ask) Mindy Kaling about her new book, Why Not Me?  The collection of personal essays follows up on Kaling's 2011's best-seller Is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me? (And Other Concerns), and includes stories from her time as a writer and actress on The Office and as showrunner of The Mindy Project.

Fey is no stranger to the game: her quasi-memoir Bossypants sold over a million copies upon release in 2011 and led publishers to order similar books from Lena Dunham, Amy Poehler and BJ Novak.

The two triple-threats will hopefully sink their teeth into issues like the Entourage movie, Hollywood standards for women, and their rules of showrunning. And hopefully Fey can get Kaling to explain her mystifying relationship with B.J. Novak once and for all.

Why Not Me? is available for purchase on Tue Sept 15. Mindy Kaling sits down with Tina Fey on Wed Sept 16 at 7:30pm at the 92nd St Y. Tickets are $63 and will be available for purchase at 92y.org.
