Now that Drybar takes house calls, here are the best NYC on-demand beauty apps

Before you trek to one of Drybar’s dozen locations in the city, just know that the blowout bar now comes to you to give you perfect hair. Download “Dry on the Fly," an Uber-like app that’ll show where Drybar stylists are in proximity to your home, office or wherever you are. You can book an appointment immediately or schedule a service for another day, but requesting a stylist to wield their signature yellow hairdryer to your door will run you $75 (including tax and tip). Considering the high-demand for an appointment at the salons, we doubt fans of the brand will wince at the price. But in case you want a voluminous hairdo for a bit less, ASAP, here are your cheaper options.

This new app delivers one of the city’s talented stylists or makeup artists wherever you are to give you a customized blowout ($65) or makeup look ($70). Like Dry on the Fly, you can request an appointment in advance for another date plus, the brand offers a range of looks from beachy-waves to fishtail braids.

You get the gist. This quick and easy beauty provider can do your hair, makeup and nails anywhere in NYC. Just like Blownaway, the stylists offer a full range of styles and price points, but if you want a gorgeous blowout, the company only charges $50 for a 45min service.
