For a decade, the American Museum of Natural History's One Step Beyond series has catered to a dedicated segment of party-goers that are equally music and museum obsessed. Good news for those folks—the party returns for its 10th season on Friday, January 6th, once again taking over the Rose Center for Earth and Space. Dance-floor vet Kenny Dope headlines, with support from Tiki Disco's Eli Escobar. Dope, one-half of seminal house duo Masters at Work, is, simply put one of the best DJs on the planet, with an ear for all strains of danceable grooves from funk to Latin, so come with open ears and appropriate footwear. In addition to the tunes, you can look forward to free admission to the museum's planetarium show, narrated by Liam Neeson: Its tour of the universe only takes 4 minutes, so just enough time to catch your breath before heading back out on the floor. Tickets are on sale now.
