Party late at the New York Aquarium on New Year’s Eve

It's an NYC rite of passage to witness the Coney Island fireworks on New Year's Eve. But before the clock strikes midnight, there's plenty to do in Coney Island and Luna Park. To sweeten the night, the Wildlife Conservation Society New York Aquarium is staying open late, with last ticketed entry at 8:30pm on the 31st. From 4:30 to 8:30pm, admission will be discounted to $9.95.

Meanwhile, Deno's Wonder Wheel Park will open two rides on New Year's Eve, including the now 97 year-old Wonder Wheel and the Gigamon VR ride, which will both be open for free rides from 6–10pm. Not a bad way to end 2016.
