Now may be the perfect time to invest in a doggie-sized fringed poncho.

BarkFest 2016, the self-described "World's Biggest Festival for Dogs and Their Groupies," is set to take over Hudson River Park's Pier 97 on May 22. From 2pm-8pm, Pier 97 will be transformed into a World's Fair-themed spectacular for dogs and their owners with interactive games, cool tech demos at the "Innovation Pawvillion," food, a beer garden and, of course, live music.

Tanlines and Great Caesar will be performing live at the event, hosted by dog-loving fashion designer Rachel Antonoff. On top of that, you can expect appearances from Instagram-famous pups @MarnieTheDog and @TunaMeltsMyHeart. What a milieu!

Tickets for this year's event will be $40 general admission and $55 for a VIPup pass with access to a special VIPee Lounge (we couldn't make this up if we tried.)
