[title]
Robert Schwartzman (front man of Rooney) is the talented musician who’s crooning voice gave us those California rock tunes like “Bluedside,” “When Did Your Heart Go Missing?” and “I Can’t Get Enough.” Next week, Schwartzman is hitting the road once again for his California Roll Tour—but this time around, the stage is on wheels.
What food trucks did for restaurants and fashion trucks did for boutiques; The California Roll Tour is doing for live concerts. If you think Schwartzman will be serving sushi, California Roll style, to a sea of his adoring fans—guess again. Although the sushi sounds delicious, Schwartzman will be performing an intimate, one-hour acoustic set inside his own tour bus for you and 29 other passengers.
Besides sharing a unique experience with an artist—completely unplugged—you help choose the set list, you’ll receive a copy or Schwartzman’s upcoming EP and you’ll be entered into a contest to win a signed guitar (one given away in each city—the odds are pretty fucking good). You will also have access to exclusive merch and there will be a Q+A and meet and greet after the show, too.
Tickets are still available—and only $50—for the two Brooklyn shows on Friday, Sept 19th and the two New York City shows on Saturday, Sept 20th. Event locations will then be sent out directly to ticket holders, so you’ll know exactly where to board. It seems like Schwartzman is the first artist who may joke about putting the "roll" before the "rock" —but he genuinely puts the music and his fans front row and center, too.
