Tens of thousands of protestors gathered in Manhattan's Washington Square Park for Millions March NYC, a march against police brutality. The protestors marched up Fifth Avenue, with people holding signs that read "I can't breathe," and shouting "No, justice, no peace." They turned west on 14th Street then continued up Sixth Avenue, blocking all traffic. Similar protests occurred all over the country today.
Today also marked SantaCon's festivities, and there were some clashes between the holiday revelers and marchers, while some dressed as Santa joined the protestors, Gothamist reports.
