If you were wandering around East Midtown Saturday, you may have seen a whole lot of naked people with paint all over their bodies dancing in the streets. They were celebrating World Bodypainting Day, an event meant to "promote human connection through art" and promote body positivity and acceptance.

Painters and paintees gathered in Dag Hammarskjold Plaza, stripped down and became living works of art. This year's theme was "Inner Beauty,"  If you want to join in the fun, there's upcoming events in Amsterdam on August 20 and San Francisco on October 23.

Check out some of the amazing designs and diversity! And #freethenipple.
