Holiday lights are coming to the World Trade Center Transportation Hub in a big way this year.

The Oculus Holiday Lights are going up for the first time today, and will continue through the end of the year every day from 3:30pm until 11:30pm. The display consists of an artistic holiday light show that's projected onto the walls of the stark-white, Santiago Calatrava-designed Oculus.

The lights were designed by New York-based visual artists Susan Holland and Bentley Meeker who also produced pieces for the US-China and the US-Norway State Dinners.

Oculus Holiday Lights at Westfield World Trade Center is a contemporary take on a festive tradition,” said Susan Holland in statement. “Using advanced technology with classic motifs, we have developed a visual conversation between the dynamic architectural tines of the Oculus and playful motion graphics.”

Check out a few of the patterns that will be displayed below.
