The world was shocked and saddened to learn of David Bowie's death this morning just one week after releasing his new album, Blackstar. Don't let the talented performer's death overshadow the amazing art he produced by attending one of these upcoming tribute events.

Tonight — Anything That's Rock N Roll Is Fine at No Name Bar The Greenpoint Bar is celebrating Bowie's legacy tonight from 10pm til 3am tonight with an evening dedicated to his music. 

January 11 — Monday Night Tribute: Bowie Hosted by Ben Knox, this musical tribute to Bowie will feature performances by Stephen Trask and Lena Hall (Hedwig and The Angry Inch), Akie Bermiss, Maddy Wyatt, Audra Isadora and more.

January 11 — Immersive Screening of Labyrinth and Bowie Dance Party at House of Yes Watch a screening of Bowie's iconic '80s film Labyrinth, complete with live performers, and then dance the rest of the night away at a Bowie Dance Party.

January 12 — Bowie Remembered at Good Room Classic Album Sundays and Good Room team up to host this event tomorrow night which will feature guest speakers, DJs, plus a special presentation of The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars.

January 15-17 — Emergency Bowie Farewell at The Grand Victory Downer party Feeling Gloomy put-together a last-minute Bowie-themed dance party for Saturday. After selling out, two additional nights were added. Friday night at Littlefield in Gowanus and Sunday at Grand Victory.

March 31 — The Music of David Bowie at Carnegie Hall This previously scheduled tribute concert featuring performances by Cyndi Lauper, Robyn Hitchcock, The Roots and more will now be a memorial concert for David Bowie.
