Resurgent riot-grrrl outfit Sleater-Kinney got back together (and graced the cover of Time Out New York) earlier this year. At that time, the trio was vague about its plans beyond its new album, No Cities to Love, and its initial tour dates ("People get really ahead of themselves!" quipped drummer Janet Weiss). Well, it looks like they aren't quite ready to hang it up yet. The band has announced a new slate of NYC shows in December. For those dates, they'll hit five venues in five days, running in size from biggest to smallest, from the regal Kings Theatre to set-to-reopen-soon Market Hotel. Make sure to visit the band's site for tickets, most of which go on sale Friday, June 19 (though Market Hotel tix go on sale Friday, June 19). We're guessing they'll go fast—five-day passes sold out almost immediately.
