Snag an $883-per-month apartment at planned Midtown East high rise

A new luxury residential tower that BLDG Management is developing at 212-214 East 44th St in Midtown East is planning to offer 87 affordable units.

The 449-foot tower will have 429 units overall, spread out over 39 floors. Among those apartments, there will be 41 one-bedroom apartments available for $895 per month, 15 two-bedroom apartments available for $1,082 per month and 31 studios for $883. Amenities will include a basketball court, a swimming pool and easy access to retail on the first floor.

The building is set to be completed in 2018. According to DNAInfo, representatives of BLDG will present their plans for the affordable apartments at a housing committee meeting on March 7 at 6:30p at NYU Langone Medical Center.
