New York has no shortage of veritable beer bars, from massive halls and gardens to upscale dens and cozy sipping shops. But when you think of the top-notch bars touting a diverse selection of suds, you might (incorrectly) assume that they're all located in Manhattan or Brooklyn. According to a new survey of beer menus in New York, Staten Island's Adobe Blues offers the second highest number of beer styles in the city, coming in right after Top Hops Beer Shop on the Lower East Side.

The Mexican mainstay cracked the top 10 in nearly every category that the study measured, coming in fourth for largest selection and ninth for rarest brews, with a whopping 27 beers that can be found nowhere else in the city at the time the survey was taken. Also claiming spots on the top-ten lists were sister joints Beer Authority and Rattle N Hum, Murray Hill favorite the Ginger Man New York and Williamsburg's the Well
