Study: You'll probably be locked out of your apartment this year

A new study from NYC-based digital locksmith KeyMe predicts that a worrying 1.9 million New Yorkers will get locked out of their apartments at some point over the next year.

The residents with the worst luck? Those forgetful fools on the Lower East Side. LES residents get locked out of their apartments more than any other neighborhood. (Chelsea comes in at number two with 36% of residents saying they've been locked out.)

And it gets worst. New Yorkers are almost twice as likely to get locked out than Bostonians (probably because we've just got a lot more going on, ok?)

The most common time of the week to get locked out? Saturday afternoon. What a way to ruin a weekend.
