Feel alright, alright, alright at a screening of Dazed and Confused
It's been nearly 25 years since director Richard Linklater corralled a young group of unknowns—including Parker Posey, Matthew McConaughey and Ben Affleck—for this stoner classic set on the last day of school in 1976. Get in the mood to chill out the lawn with an opening set by No Wahala DJs and a screening of the short film Chronemics.
Brooklyn Bridge Park, 6pm, screening at sundown, free

Delight in lost treasures at the Found Footage Festival's Salute to Weirdos
The Onion's Joe Pickett and Letterman's Nick Prueher host this salute to the greatest weirdos of the VHS era. The national Found Footage tour has exhumed a cast of gloriously loony hot messes from discarded HR videos, donation boxes and garage sales, and will fill you in on where they've gone since their recorded glory years.
BAM Rose Cinemas, 30 Lafayette Ave, Brooklyn, 7:30pm, $14, $7 members

Break it down outdoors at Air à Danser
Sharegroove's Steve ShakeWell curates this postwork outdoor Brooklyn gathering filled with mellow moods and summer harmonies, no matter the weather. Expect guest DJs with good vibes while you snack on some food and sip on some dranks.
Battery Harris, 64 Frost St, Brooklyn, 5pm, free
