Ima let you finish at Lit #5: Kanye
This reading and music series focuses on a different artist each session, and today's celebrates self-proclaimed god, Kanye West. The " literary group therapy session" features fiction, nonfiction and poetry readings from several authors, as well as music from DJ Sareen.

Party at an end-of-summer block party at Game On! 
The Downtown Alliance put together free games, movies and music on Water Street. Rudy is playing on the Elevated Acre, shuffleboard is happening at Royal Palms Shuffleboard Club, there's bocce ball by Play Big Apple in Manhattan Park, plus there's lots of beer and bites for purchase along the way. Catch a flick at the Harlem International Film Festival
On the multicultural film fest's opening night, see Stories of Our Lives, a film from Kenya that dramatizes true stories of LGBT life in the country, after screenings of short films Falling and Tom in America.
