Wear your best wig to Bushwig
A cavalcade of drag stars and other artists is scheduled to appear at this annual gender-bending fest. Diversions include performances, food, games and much more. When things wrap up, follow the horde to various after-parties.

Live a fashion fantasy at Refinery 29's 29Rooms
No matter where you rank in the fashion hierarchy, cool-girl lifestyle website Refinery29 wants everyone to experience what will be the can’t-miss NYFW event of the year: 29Rooms. They created a free, fully immersive fun house comprising 29 themed rooms that push the envelope on current issues like body positivity, the Presidential Election and hot trends like pastel hair. You’ll want to linger inside the Denim Workshop with Old Navy, where BPD Washhouse technicians will show you how to style denim using distressing skills while customizing your own take-away tote bag, and the tour ends with the Handbag Castle—a giant bouncy house in the shape of, you guessed it, a women’s handbag.
29Rooms, 15 Huron St, Brooklyn, noon, free

Skate the night away at Lola Star's Dreamland Roller Disco
Have you ever wanted to dress up like a character from Xanadu, The Great Gatsby, or the "Thriller" video and then go dance in a park with a lot of other like-minded people? Join the insanity at tonight's theme, Purple Rain, where you'll need to unleash your inner rollerblade vixen to keep up with the crowd, and the DJs.
Lakeside at Prospect Park, enter at Lincoln Rd and Ocean Ave, Brooklyn, 7:30pm, $18
