Find your people at the Hot Rod and Tattoo Show
Whether you have an itch to get a new tattoo or scope out cars made before 1940, this is the place for you. Starting at 3pm there will be live tattooing from tons of local shops at the Coney Island Museum, and 7pm kicks off the pre-party at Freak Bar ($12) with live rockabilly bands.

Catch a flick at the 53rd New York Film Festival
The mammoth cinema event returns to Lincoln Center to showcase some of the best new films, shorts and documentaries from around the planet, along with well-curated talks, retrospectives and revivals. Tonight, you can see All That Jazz, Wild RiverThe King of Comedy, and more.
Tickets are available for purchase at the Alice Tully Hall box office from 10am–6pm daily. Various prices.

Get down and dirty at the Cards Against Humanity party
