1. Get buzzed at the Fourth Annual Spirits of New York
Lift a glass to the distillers of the Empire State at this regional-spirits showcase. Hosted on the McCarren Hotel's rooftop, the tasting event brings over a dozen producers of gin, whiskey, vodka and more—including Breukelen Distilling and Nahmias et Fils—together for a celebration of local booze. (McCarren Hotel Rooftop Lounge, 160 N 12th St, 7-9pm. $40)

2. Laugh with Amy Schumer and Friends
Before the release of her new movie, Trainwreck, comedian Amy Schumer brings together comics from the film for a star-studded night of stand-up at the Beacon Theater. The lineup includes Mike Birbiglia, Colin Quinn and Judd Apatow (who directed the film). (Beacon Theater, 2124 Broadway, 8pm. $50-$255)

3. See Jaws on Randall's Island
Watch the iconic film (which will make you want to stay far away from any body of water), surrounded by water! Randall's Island Park's Outdoor Movie Night series brings the movie to a large, outdoor screen. Blankets and picnicking strongly encouraged. (Touchdown of the 103rd Street Footbridge in Randall's Island Park, 7:30pm. Free.) NOTE: THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED.
