Netflix's new prequel series reincarnating Wet Hot American Summer is out today, and Bushwick's X Marks The Lot is throwing a party to celebrate. The Wet Hot Brooklyn Summer Talent Show will be an "immersive, interactive theater, creative community experience" that you can actually audition for! Throw up an Instagram post with the hashtag #wethotbrooklynsummer showing off your best talent (might it involve BBQ sauce?) by Aug 2 and you could be picked to perform in the show.

Of course if you just wanna eat BBQ, talk to canned vegetables and get laid, there will be plenty of that, too. The party will be hosted by actress Michelle Joni, who played Tall Debbie in the film, and will feature a big ol BBQ (with sauce to smother on your face before you make out with people), free beer, science projects, arts 'n' farts 'n' crafts, and even a canned food drive. Tickets start at $16, so you better grab 'em now before you're ordered to take a bunch of kids rafting overnight and they're all sold out!
