The last thing any New Yorker wants to hear is there are bed bugs on something; anything. Well, get ready for this news; more bed bugs were found on the damn subway. More, we tell you! These critters were found even after the fumigation that took place just a few weeks ago when 21 bedbugs were sighted on two different N trains.
Now the pesky munchkins are on two R trains that will be taken out of rotation due to the new findings. The MTA confirmed today that it fumigated 16 trains during last month's bedbugs scare, according to the Daily News.
Until further updates, we'll leave you with this lovely message from Jo Costales our chairman of Transport Workers Union Local 100, according to Daily News:
“The MTA is losing the war on bed bugs.”
