There are more exclusive apartment listings over $15K in Manhattan than under $2K

Breaking news: It looks like big money buyers are going to have a much easier time finding an apartment in the current market than those looking for a deal. When it comes to exclusive listings in Manhattan—AKA apartments on the market where a broker holds a signed listing agreement—apartments with a monthly rental price of over $15,000 made up 7 percent of available units. Apartments with a monthly rental price under $2,000 made up a mere 5 percent.

This may be the most disappointing pie we've ever encountered in November. You can also see a chart below showing the neighborhoods with the most exclusive listings. Not surprisingly, the Upper East Side and the Upper West Side come out far on top.
