The three things you need to know today in New York: Fri August 11

Written by

1. Starting today, there’s a pop-up museum for dogs in New York. The exhibition at Brookfield Place has works of art that canines can smell and touch.

2. Governors Island will stay open past sunset for two nights this month, and the first one is tonight. Its waterfront seafood restaurant is staying open late, too.

3. A New York ice cream shop is now serving unicorn floats. The rainbow dessert smoothie from Taiyaki is served in a mini unicorn floatation device.
