Alexey Zakharov, a photographer and animator in Moscow, created the short film “The Old New World” using old photos of New York, Boston, Detroit, Washington D.C. and Baltimore. Zakharov used camera projection based on the photos, which capture the cities from 1900 to 1940, to create the surreal, realistic video.
