The first major snowfall of the year usually affects most New Yorker’s morning commutes, but if you take some inspiration from this video, you could go from killing time at a train platform to shredding some serious powder this week.

In the middle of Saturday’s record-setting blizzard, YouTuber Casey Neistat hit the streets of Manhattan with a snowboard, a Jeep Wrangler, a startling lack of fear and a dream. The video was a reprise of a similar stunt from 2014, but the conditions were even more conducive to wicked, extreme blizzard boardin’ this weekend.

At one point in the video, Neistat’s friend, Oscar Boyson, joins him for some synchronized action that’s straight out of SeaWorld Antarctica. You can also check out a behind-the-scenes video that reveals some more of what went into making the impressive clip.

See you on the slopes this lunch hour.
