We’re going a bit beef crazy around here, gearing up for our epic Battle of the Burger (August 18, South Street Seaport, be there).
It’s our annual celebration of all things meaty-and-squeezed-between-buns where we ask you to taste, and then vote for, the best burgers in the city. Plus drink some booze. So: a delicious evening all-round.
This year we’re going a step further with this beef frenzy—we’re holding a competition to find the city’s best home griller. Think you make the meanest burger around? Time to prove it.
Just go to our entry page, upload a picture of your best burger and you’re in with a chance (make sure you enter by August 9!). Our eagle-eyed burger experts will choose three finalist to join some of the city’s best chefs at the Battle of the Burger, cooking at the event for expert judges in a Hunger Games-style face-off to the death (er, we mean, a competition to see who gets a super-cool Schweid and Sons and Time Out New York gift pack).
