Where to watch Eurovision live in NYC

If American Idol and the World Cup had a baby, Eurovision would be the result. For the first time, the grand finale of the annual and very beloved, kitschy international song contest will be streaming live in America on Saturday, May 14. So get stoked!

The Stockholm event will be broadcast by Logo—a Viacom-owned cable network for LGBT programming. The live steam beings at 3pm and will be available via LogoTV.com and the LogoTV app, but why watch the pop music showdown alone on your couch when you can catch the show in a bar, with plenty of booze, and super-fun European expats?

You know what to do. Here are a couple of NYC watering holes that will be streaming Eurovision live for your viewing pleasure.

Overthinking It’s Eurovision Viewing Party
This pop culture brand is hosting it’s third Eurovision viewing party at The Liberty (29 W 35th St) on Saturday at 2pm. The event kicks off with a showing of videos and songs that didn’t make the cut, followed by the main event at 3pm. Food and drinks are available.

Tonic Bar’s Viewing Party
This bar (727 Seventh Ave) in Times Square houses multiple TVs and a recently upgraded super-screen. Translation: You won’t need to crowd around one lousy picture box to catch the highlights from the finale. There will be plenty of European beer to drink, great tunes and definitely a rowdy crowd. We suggest arriving a few hours early to snag a table.

King Size Queen's Eurovision Song Contest
If you want to dance and sing your heart out to campy pop songs after watching the finale, King Size Queen is throwing a wild Euro Trash party once the contest climaxes. The fun starts at 10pm inside one of the best gay bars in NYC—Nowhere Bar (322 E 14th St).

Hibernia Bar
This Hell’s Kitchen booze den (401 W 50th St) is the perfect spot to watch the live stream if you love theatrics. The event will feature the bar’s famous balloon drop, a prize for the best scorecard and more surprises.

Rise Bar
Join Acid Betty from RuPaul's Drag Race for an unforgettable night at Rise Bar (859 Ninth Ave), including a live screening of the concert.
